Data and Chance

When I was doing my undergrad, I had to take a class called Data and Chance. It was for Elementary Education majors, and the class was all about probability. Loved. It. We did statistics, but completely watered down so that we simultaneously learned how to teach 3rd graders the meaning of rolling dice or the probability of getting a snickers out of a bag of mixed candy. There is an 80% chance that I liked the class because most of the real life applications involved food or clothes.

I know I'm a true blogger now, because today I was making a list of things in my head that I wanted to include on my blog. First, and foremost, I received my jacket in a packet today! and right in the nick of time, because there is a 90% chance of rain tomorrow. Remind me again why I live in a place that has a 90% chance of rain at least once per week. Wait, that's right. I live here in the name of love. So I guess I can stop complaining..........NOW. Who could complain when simultaneously sporting a jacket in a packet??

Speaking of love, my dear husband is currently making a very difficult choice right now. It includes picking between the Kyle Field and the Aggie Ring background for his laptop. Hard decisions here people. He went with the Aggie Ring, because he will be the proud owner of one in a mere 3 months. Nine times out of ten, fun is going on at the Sanchez household.

Isn't funny how you morph into the story when reading a great book? I am seriously lamenting over the fact that I finished my book last night. Kolya! I miss you already! I switched to a book that may or may not measure up. Someone is already getting beat up and drugged, then placed in the trunk. And I'm on page 5. There is a 50% chance that the book will be in the freezer in no time. Yes, I put books I no longer want anything to do with in the freezer. It is a move I learned from Joey on Friends.

Chance for reading tonight: 70%.
Chance for drinking coffee, calling my mom and being funny: 100%
Chance for going to bed at a reasonable hour: 10%

Until next time!!
